Jason, interesting set of photos. I have to say that the Red River has an interesting name and must have looked reddish clay, this made me think of the Mekong river that is so red at certain times of the year that it creates two colors river where it meets with a smaller river from different provinces. I saw one in Paksun where Nam Xan and Mekong River meet, it’s really a sight.
I’ve never seen money being put in between incense sticks before, must be their Buddhist religion.
